OUR GOAL

  • Preserve, restore, and maintain the Oakdale one-room schoolhouse as well as other future projects should they arise.
  • Catalogue, digitize, and preserve locally significant historical artifacts.
  • Promote the preservation of the history of Hunlock Township for generations to come.

OUR STORY

​​The Hunlock Creek Historical Society (HCHS) was formed in the summer of 2018 in an attempt to preserve the history of Hunlock Township for future generations to come. Township residents, past and present, decided to organize in order to preserve the history of the community before it is forgotten.
